Starting to get really optimistic about the Dave & Nick show. Latest is the Government is going to stop centrally funding speed cameras and this means that local authorities will dismantle them - starting with Oxfordshire within the next week or two.

The Sunday Times carried a message board yesterday (where readers comment) on children dying because the police et al now observe health & safety laws which forbid them to save a drowning child. All comments were violently anti all this nonsense. One comment was particularly good:

You won’t believe it! - the Health and Safety Executive strikes again. Now farmers have been advised to wear ear defenders when feeding the pigs to avoid getting their hearing being damaged by the squealing. You think I am making this up don’t you, but its true.
